Materials Used

A few words on the materials we use...

We thought it important to state clearly that our beads are created using only genuine Murano glass rods purchased by us directly on the Venetian island of Murano.

Our glass supplier is the renowned Moretti / Effetre, the company that was the forefather to so many of the glass suppliers of today.

In addition, it is always our goal to use supplies that we either create ourselves or we have made for us here in Florence by local artisans. A good example of this is our link earrings pictured to the right.

They feature the following components:

* Large-hole, silver-insert beads produced by us

* Mini-Frame link produced for us by a local artisan

* Handmade marbleized paper created here in Florence

In these times of mass-production we strive to both celebrate the local artists and do our best to help sustain them by being inclusive in our own creative endeavours.
